Windows 8 : How to Completely Hide a Hard Drive
You may have a lot of fiels to keep hidden . This might be a problem if you have no idea on what to do next. Don't worry we have a solution for it too. You can hide the mass storage i.e the hard drive using this method. Transfer all the files that you need to hide to a separate hard drive first.

Steps :
1.⬌ Right click on the Computer shortcut and then click on the Manage.
2.⬌ Now, under the Computer Management select the Storage option.
3.⬌ Then, double-click on the Disk Management.
[Alternatively you can navigate to this fro the Command Prompt. Open the command prompt and type diskmgmt and hit Enter and the the same Disk management about which we are talking above will open.
4.⬌ Now , select the drive that you need to hide. Right-click it and select Change Drive Letter and Paths...
5.⬌Click on the drive letter and then click remove. Now, confirm the removal by clicking on OK.
Now your are done you are done. Your drive is now successfully hidden When browsing from the computer shortcut it will not be seen. You can unhide the drive back by repeating the same process and adding it back .
It is not completely secure like all other windows hide technique. Parts if the OS can detect the hard drive at the hardware level the hard drives presence is shown. However, most of your friends o other users accessing your compter and looking for your private data will not be going deeply to this drive as they won't be keeping eye in the hidden devices.
